the sad truth. >> oh, no. >> this is going to be painful. guys, i got two animal rescue videos. i've got to say, pretty nerve-racking. can be tough to watch. the first one, tough even to just listen to. >> ah! he's stuck. what's he stuck on? >> that's a goat, and can you see his leg is wedged between these two trees. this is paolo, you see here. he sets his camera up to show he's trying to help this goat, but it takes him quite a bit of time and the gt's still in ite a bit of agony. finally, paolo gets the idea to just pick this goat straight up, but this is a pretty big animal. >> oh! >> ah. >> paolo finally uses all his might, gets the leg out from

between the two trees. the goat kind of tumbling down the hill a little bit, but was able to stand up and paolo chases this goat back to his goat friends. >> he's not limping! >> from there we're going to go to the waters of the shores of maui, where a crew from the four season the outrigger program are just out there enjoying the nice scenery when they see something floating in the water. >> do you see that? it's swimming. >> the deer barely has his nose above the surface. i mean, this thing is swimming, but is really close to, i've got to believe, drowning. >> 12 years, i have never, ever seen a deer like this. >> eventually, they get close to the thing, and somebody jumps out with, like, a red buoy, and they're trying to wrap that around the deer. you see the girl. she kind of gets the red boyer around the deer and gets him to shallow water enough where he can sort of walk on his own, but the deer is so disoriented, the

deer starts going back out to the ocean. >> he's scared of all the people on the shore waiting, looking, excited about this deer. >> once they get him to shore, the deer can barely walk. his legs are sort of drags behind him. eventually a rescue vehicle shows up. at one point they go to lift him up and you can hear him. they took him off to safety. hopefully gave him something to eat and something to drink. take a look at this dashcam footage from a georgia police officer's patrol car. [ siren ] >> rollover. >> ooh. was that an ambulance? >> that was an ambulance, and that was a toyota carrying three people that crashed into the back of that ambulance. now let me tell you the story that led up to this moment. this police officer saw this toyota, and thought that it looked suspicious. the officer turns on its lights and the toyota speeds off. now, the toyota was being driven by 29-year-old candice smith.

she began leading this police officer on chase up to 100 miles per hour. you can watch the white lines just pass by. now, the unfortunate thing, as this tape progresses, ends up rear-ending an ambulance that carries a driver, another paramedic and a patient in the back. the ambulance goes flying off to the left. this car, flying off to the right. now, as the officer pulls up to the scene of the accident, you can see how mangled his car is. unfortunately, due to this accident, smith and her two passengers were all killed. the ambulance driver was fine, uninjured. the other prayer mparamedics has as well as the patient in the back. they ended up being taken to a hospital and are okay. >> never a good idea to try to out-run the cops. this is a perfect example. we're about four months away from the two year anniversary from the japanese earthquake

that triggered that massive tsunami, and believe it or not, videos are still coming out that document the destruction. this one just recently posted chose the waters initially pouring into the street. you can see it carrying a bunch of debris. what looks like it could be just a little bit of floodwaters quickly turns into a sweeping deluge that devastates this entire area in this region. there are about 35 people that have evacuated to the roof of this building. this was a gas company building, and see their parking lot down below. the cars start to get overrun by water. they are quickly swept away. eventually the people that are on top of this building have to climb even higher on to the building. [ speaking in foreign languag ] language ]. >> check out this angle. >> oh, man. >> wow. >> yeah. here they are now clamoring to a higher part of the building. you see the water coming up over

in. these covered. got a backpack and he's got a gun. the manager reports hearing three gunshots and the door getting kicked in. you can see, that's the suspect kicking in the door. watch what happens when he goes in the back room. there's the manager. he's counting money. the man comes in, hits him in the leg, and then he hits him in the head with the gun. >> ah! >> that knocks the manager out, and that's when the thief starts taking cash. and he doesn't just stop there. he goes into what looks like a safe on the floor. they sap the manager had just let the last employee out. so he wases in there by himself counting the money when this happened. >> surely this guy was waiting for the right time outside the building. waiting for there to be just one or two people left inside. >> the manager suffered a non-life threatening injury from that gunshot wound. >> creepy, too, he didn't run when he got outside. he just walked very casually down the sidewalk. >> i have another very disturbing video. this one took place in the parking lot of a shell station in virginia. you see a group of men crowding

right in front of this surveillance camera. all of a sudden, a fight just breaks out, but not just any fight, because these guys are carrying guns. >> ah! >> oh, man. >> officers were nearby. they heard the gunshots. when they approached the area, they saw the group of men fighting with each other, but then look at what happens on the right side of your screen. some men are seen running away from the scene, and two men are left on the ground. those two men have been shot. >> oh. >> the one man that's still moving around, look at his hand. he still has a gun in his own hand, and he is moving it around, pointing it in different directions. that w 37-ye cooper. you see cars driving past them. men coming back into the scene to check up on these guys that have been shot, and then that's when you see one of the police officers run into the scene. they manage to get one of the wounded men into this car. all the men that were shot were taken to the hospital.

people aren't even familiar with these images. >> don't get -- >> america, afghanistan come to this and they get airplanes from the united states to attack. >> we now finally have adam plets, the man behind the video via skype "right this minute" from beirut to tell us more about the process of making this incredible documentary. >> we're thrilled to have you on the show. first of all, what made you want to create this video? >> well, it came out in a conversation with syrian, they started telling afghans america put a man on the moon. the reaction from the guy he was speaking to was one of hysterical laughter. it got me thinking, what else might they not be aware of. >> were you surprised what you found out, even though you had a good idea what you may here? >> surprised to the extent. it's kind of understandable they wouldn't know about it, because these guys pretty much live in a media vacuum. that's pretty much the norm

throughout afghanistan. you're away from the big cities. >> how did they react amp you told them what these photos were? >> a lot is lost in communication. what often happens they'd think i've actually in some way accusing the first people i showed the pictures to, they said, listen, we know nothing about this. we're just simple farmers. >> sometimes there were awkward moments. >> we're going to -- one thing and how many buildings? and they say we're going to help you. where is the help? >> what was your initial response as you watched the reactions and heard the reactions of these people? >> i felt a bit like a lawyer asking questions. you know, you never ask a question unless you know the answer sort of thing. at the same time if these guys don't know what caused america's soldiers to come toll their own country, if you put yourselves in their shoes, i would have really liked to known why people are wandering around the area i was in. i felt kind of saddened for them. it's julie's birthday. a friend thought it would be a

live tv sf great because as you know, anything can happen, but what are the chances this happens? this was during a live traffic report by jennifer raina on kprc live local 2. she's letting people know about a crash that's just kind of being cleaned up. two fire trucks are there sort of taking off looking like things are cleaned up, but keep an eye on the screens. >> another still there, looks like they're taking off.

nos one was harmed in the making of this video, no even the animals. actually a pumpkin didn't make it through this video. this is from a village in new york. howard posted this video saying because of hurricane sandy they only had 15 trick-or-treaters rather than the 100 they usually get, but this pumpkin was on the front porch and this squirrel came and got t. i like the way he's eating the pumpkin. >> look at the mess he left around in. first i thought it was candy corn then i realized it was the guts of the pumpkin he's just leaving on the porch. >> how do we even know this is a squirrel? it's halloween. this could be a bird dressed as a squirrel trick-or-treating? >> according to howard who posted this, there are other squirrels but this is the only one brave enough to come to the front porch and eat the pumpkin and he says, it's probably the
